Refined Guidelines for Basic Shapes and Gradients
Hi Creator,
This email is to update you on changes to Canva's Graphics Review Quality Guidelines and how we'll approach basic shapes and gradients going forward.
Here's what you need to know:
We will no longer accept basic shapes and gradients that can be easily created within Canva.
You should read over the Graphics Review Quality Guidelines, especially the updated section on Basic Shapes and Elements.
We'll be reviewing the Canva library to ensure all elements align with our updated policy and existing basic shapes and gradients will be removed from the library.
Once elements are removed, they won't be available in Canva's library or generate new royalties. Users who have already been granted a licence can still use them.
No action is needed on your part at this time.
For more details about how we update contributor guidelines and what happens once elements are removed, you can check out sections 1.2 and 1.4 of the Contributor Agreement.
