Сегодня от Фотолии пришло письмо:
"Special Tax Announcement - Contributors
Dear Contributor,
Recently you received our Special Announcement of the new Tax Center and withholding tax forms on the Fotolia website. We trust you have reviewed the information and contacted us with any questions. Unfortunately, our records indicate an IRS withholding tax form has not been submitted. As a result, withholding tax has been applied at the standard rate of 28% on all Fotolia income since January 1, 2010.
We encourage you to visit our Tax Center and submit the appropriate withholding tax form. Depending on your particular situation and country of residence, you may obtain reduced or zero withholding tax on U.S. source income. Foreign residents, with appropriate validated forms in a non-tax treaty country, will have the standard 30% rate applied on U.S. source income. Foreign residents with appropriate validated forms, will not have withholding tax applied on sales outside the U.S.
Once the form is submitted, certain information is confirmed with the IRS and an email will be sent to you stating if the form has been validated.
