Hi!
I have a portfolio at the Getty (via Flickr), the content does not overlap with my portfolio on Istockphoto (
http://www.gettyimages.com/Search/Se...ettype=******). Now I would like (and can) to become an exclusive contributor to Istockphoto.
What should I answer to the question:
\"Are you currently selling any images (including editorial) or 3D renders on other Royalty-Free sites or businesses?\" in my case?
Is Getty third-party site for Istockphoto?
What are the further interaction of these two accounts?
Best regards, Natalia

Hi Natalia,
Thank you very much for your message and sorry for the delay in our response.
To apply for Exclusivity, the following requirements must be met:
1) Any images for sale Royalty Free with any other company must be completely removed.
2) You must have 250 downloads with a minimum acceptance rating of 50% OR a minimum of 500 downloads.
Once you become exclusive your content can be mirrored to Getty Images.
When you are qualified, you can apply for Exclusivity in your upload area.
Regards,

Excuse me, my question was not quite about this.
Let me explain.
When I start the process of applying for exclusivity, the first question is:
"Are you currently selling any images (including editorial) or 3D renders on other Royalty-Free sites or businesses?"
How should I answer this question if I have a portfolio at the Getty (via Flickr)? I know that Getty is in partnership with iStockPhoto and exclusive contributors can send photos on Getty.
So, is Getty "other Royalty-Free sites or businesses" in this case?
And will it be possible to link these accounts in the future?
Best regards

Hi Natalia,
Thank you very much for your message and sorry for the delay in our response.
Please look into the agreements of the Flickr Getty program. If you are selling images via this method this would effect your exclusivity at iStock. You are welcome to upload images via flickr however please ensure the content is small files with noticeable watermarks.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I am sorry, but your answer is not exactly what I was looking for, let us try to put it this way:
Please, just select right answer:
1. Can I become an exclusive contributor to Istockphoto, if I have account on Getty (from Flickr)?
A. Yes, you can apply for exclusivity
B. No, you need delete Getty account before applying for exclusivity
2. I am aware that Getty is in partnership with iStockPhoto and exclusive contributors can send photos on Getty.
When I start the process of applying for exclusivity, the first question is:
"Are you currently selling any images (including editorial) or 3D renders on other Royalty-Free sites or businesses?"
Can I answer NO in this case, if Getty is the only one place, where my photos are on sale now?
Please, select right answer:
A. Yes, you can answer "NO" and continue the process of applying for exclusivity
B. No, in this case you can't continue the process of applying for exclusivity
Best regards

Hi Natalia,
Thank you very much for your message and sorry for the delay in our response.
To clarify if you have the same content on Getty it has to be completely different than the content on iStockphoto.
Please ensure content uploaded to Flickr is in small format with noticeable watermark.
If you have done this then you are welcome to apply for exclusivity.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Regards,

I am sorry, with all due respect I am dissatisfied with the answers. There is no adequate answer on my question which I posted almost three times. Could you please forward our correspondence to other person who could probably read my questions more thoroughly. Thanks.

Hi Natalia,
Thank you very much for your message and sorry for the delay in our response.
If you are apart of the Flickr/Getty program then yes you are selling content through other sites. You can still be exclusive and keep your flickr account however you must have images that are completely different than the files on iStockphoto.
I hope this helps
