Why join the free collection?

The free collection addresses the increasing demand for accessible content and expands the customer pool while supporting content creators. Nominate your eligible photos for an opportunity to unlock value from these assets — while retaining your ownership.

How much do I get paid for each selected photo?

You’ll receive an upfront payment of US$5 for each photo that we accept and include in the free collection non-exclusively for 12 months.

What happens to the photos that are added to the free collection?

We will add the selected photos to the free collection for 12 months. During this time, you won’t receive additional royalties for those photos since you already received the upfront payment.

Your best-selling photos are excluded; only photos with 4 downloads or less in the last year would be accepted.

How it works

When you log in to the Contributor portal between now and June 23, 2021, you’ll see a banner in your Dashboard allowing you to nominate photos for consideration for the free collection. Move the slider to the right to nominate all your eligible content. You’ll be able to review and, if you so decide, to opt out any or all of your photos before June 23. You’ll also see the highest total amount you could earn if all the eligible photos are accepted into the free collection.
