Писал в сапорт iStock-а еще в марте на счет битых превьюшек у векторных изображений. И вот сегодня получил "скорый"
ответ:
I sincerely apologize for the delay in my response regarding the previews for files:
ХХХ
We are still working to resolve the issue but, if you prefer not to wait, you're welcome to re-upload the files. Please do let me know if you would still like these files to be removed.
After February 2017, all vector files have their previews generated from the EPS file itself, not by the separate raster file you originally submitted.
We've since made multiple improvements to how our system handles the generation of vector preview images. These improvements include far more accurate colours, less visible banding and compression, and better cropping. Unfortunately, given that workflows can vary from one contributor to the next, the generation of vector preview images can still vary.
Preview abnormalities (such as missing shapes, color shifts, gradient banding and pixelation) is most commonly caused by one or more of the following:
• Complex transparency effects (blurs, glows, drop shadows, etc.)
• Gradients and transparencies in the RGB color space
• Layering multiple transparencies and gradients on top of each other
• Files built in CorelDRAW®
• Files with exceedingly small artboard sizes (under 100 pixels)
• Restricting the Document Raster Effects Settings of your file to low resolution outputs only
• Leaving stray points or paths outside of your artboard
• Adding printer's marks (crops and bleeds) to your document
If you are concerned about how your previews will look, we suggest the following:
• Avoid using transparencies, particularly effects like blurs, glows, and drop shadows
• Work in the CMYK color space
• Make your artboards larger than 800 pixels
• Keep your file construction simple without layered transparency effects
• Don't modify your Document Raster Effect Settings
• If you use CorelDRAW, please re-save your files in Adobe Illustrator®
• Carefully check to ensure you've deleted any stray shapes or paths outside of your artboard
• Do not add printer's marks to your files
We recommend uploading one or two files as a test to see how they publish before going ahead and uploading a big series.
Sincerely,
Tanja
