Project Description:
You are Shutterstock.
Shutterstock has 35,000 contributors. Those contributors have 35,000 unique stories.
We are asking a small group
of Shutterstock contributors to share their stories. Your story is one
of them. We want to know what inspires you? What is your creative process? How has Shutterstock affected or changed your life? We would love to get some video clips and audio sound bites to combine into short videos. These videos will
be shown internally to our company and our goal is to have them become an "I Am Shutterstock" video that could
be distributed to hundreds
of thousands
of customers worldwide.
In order to compile this video, we'd love to get any
of the following:
Brief videos
of your creative process (shooting photos, creating art, discussing your workflow, showing or discussing your inspiration process, etc.).
Brief videos
of your location and workspace (home, town, or city).
Brief videos and audio clips
of you discussing the questions below.
Questions to cover in your video:
Tell us who you are and where you're from
Tell us about yourself and your life as an artist. (is this your primary job? how did you get into your field? why do you love it?)
Tell us about your images and video. (what inspires them, what's the process for creating them? What's your style, approach, etc.)
What is your favorite part
of selling images and video?
How do you come up with ideas? Where do you find inspiration?
What is the most exciting thing about working with Shutterstock? How has Shutterstock affected or changed your life?
Please shoot a video
of you (head and shoulders) saying "I Am Shutterstock."
Timing:
Our plan is to showcase this video montage at a company event next Thursday, so we would love to have your materials by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest.
Specs & Submission:
We would love to have HD, 1080p video, in a .MOV format. We are open to other formats, so please let us know if this format isn't possible and we'll work with you on other options.
If you are recording sound with a secondary audio device, please record at 48Khz/16bit or 24bit (.WAV file)
When you are ready to submit your vido, Please FTP the video to: server: ftp.shutterstock.com, user -
stories@shutterstock.com, password - stockstory77
The maximum file size per file is 4 gigabytes. Please do not upload a file larger than 4 gigabytes as the FTP will not
be able to accept it.

A few other notes:
We prefer for you to speak in English, but if you feel more comfortable speaking in another language, please provide english captions for any words spoken.
Please avoid any music or unnatural background noise in the video
We will need signed model releases for anyone who appears in the video
